If you are not sure if your sunroof was factory or aftermarket installed, here are a few tips to assist you:
- Factory installed sunroofs usually do not have a fixed molding or weatherstrip around the exterior hole opening.
- Compare the logo on the sunroof glass to the door glass logos, if they are by the same manufacturer, you most likely have a factory installed sunroof.
- Look in your vehicles owners manual to verify the sunroof shown in the manual operates and has the same features as the sunroof in your vehicle.
- If your vehicle is a 1995 or newer model, contact your dealer. They should be able to tell you if your sunroof was factory installed by your VIN number.
